The user interface of this platform is rather simple to use. Key Switcher is a cross-platform application that monitors the keystrokes and detects the language of each word that you type. It also supports automatic switching according to the current application and can automatically turn itself on/off. Normal Keyboard Switcher comes with hotkeys for quick language changing. It can also suggest typing language based on input text which is not available in other keyboard switchers. It can switch to one of many input languages. It has four display modes and has live switching in all modes.

Unlike Windows switcher, it allows you to choose any key from your keyboard as the switching key. Normal Keyboard Switcher program is a replacement for standard Windows keyboard switcher and suitable for switching more than two input languages. In a standard Windows keyboard switcher, you can only switch between two input languages, but the Normal Keyboard Switcher is designed to switch between more than two input languages. It makes it easier to switch between main input languages, especially when you have to type your name or address in every form on the internet.

Normal Keyboard Switcher is a free program that replaces standard Windows keyboard switcher.

For foreign language users, it covers an option for modifier assignments called “Modifier Groups.” Each modifier is assigned to a group and can be targeted by any application. For example, AltGr+C using a keyboard layout with Compose like US-International or Canadian Multilingual Standard would yield an unusable character: Ç. With the traditional layout for these modifiers, some combinations of modifier key and ‘character’ key would result in an unusable character or an input error. Modifiers like AltGr, Compose, Ctrl, Shift, etc., are often used in foreign languages to create special characters not present on the keyboard. Whenever that modifier is held, the layout will switch to the assigned combination. It works in multiple progressive steps like entering your keyboard’s name and layout on the top left, dropping your modifier combination into the input field for every language, select what key you’d like to act as the toggle modifier for that language.
